What are Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate covered Honey Grahams with Sea Salt

Trader Joe’s has created yet again, the most decadent snack that you could wish for. Rich, chocolatey, crunchy and slightly salty what else could you ask for?

The perfect sized graham cracker squares are enveloped in rich dark chocolate. The amount of dark chocolate covering the graham cracker is unbelievable. I think there may be more chocolate on the snack than actual graham cracker! SIGN ME UP!

Coarse sea salt is lightly sprinkled over the tops of each coated graham cracker. Along with the crunchiness from the cracker itself, the coarse sea salt really gives it another layer of depth. I think salt is one of the most important ingredients anyone can use. It elevates any dish, whether it being appetizer, entree or dessert.

Where In the Store?

I haven’t figured out if these are a fairly new item to Trader Joe’s, or if they’ve been around for a while and I just haven’t spotted them. In any event, you can find these in the chip and snack aisle, near the other candies Trader Joe’s offers.

You can also find them in the freezer aisle on the shelves above the frozen stuff. There are always hidden treasures on those shelves amongst the other “tried and trues” to Trader Joe’s, so make sure to take your time when perusing those shelves.

These grahams are very hard to miss because of their bright yellow packaging with the contrasting warm dark chocolate brown colors.

How to Serve Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate covered Honey Grahams with Sea Salt

Honestly, I just eat these right out of the package. I reach in and grab usually two or three of them. That usually tends to take care of my chocolate craving, especially for a late night snack.

I mentioned above that these would make a great vessel for a toasted marshmallow. Sandwich one of those hot, melted marshmallows between two of these Dark Chocolate covered Honey Grahams and BAM, you’ve got the perfect mini s’more. Perfectly bite sized, and perfectly crunchy.

A dessert charcuterie board is so much fun to make, and so much fun for your guests to enjoy. Along with these grahams here are a few different items you can add to your dessert charcuterie board!

The Review

If I could eat only these for the rest of my life, I would probably be just fine with that. These Dark Chocolate Grahams are so freakin’ good!! I really can’t get enough of them. Every time I walk past my pantry, I find myself reaching into the bag for one! I’m going to need to hide them so they’re out of sight out of mind!

The graham cracker cookie itself is perfectly crispy and crunchy. Really all around the perfect graham cracker.

I know people have their favorites when it comes to dark chocolate and milk chocolate. Listen up, if you’re not a fan of dark chocolate, I bet you will be after trying one of these. The graham cracker is totally covered in dark chocolate all around, the top especially. The top of the honey graham has probably triple the amount of chocolate as it does on the bottom.

The chocolate itself is rich, dark, slightly bitter with a lot of sweetness and has a roasted note to it, that just works.

Ahhhh sea salt, we meet again. Did I mention that I love salt? LOL. Anyway, the coarse sea salt sprinkled on top of these bad boys is the cherry on top.

Buy It Again?

I have and will definitely be buying these again. On my most recent trip out to Trader Joe’s yesterday, I picked up another bag of these because I realized how low I was on my previous bag. I think someone (ehhemmm my Mother) may have been dipping into my stash, so the chocolatey grahams disappeared more quickly than I realized!

All that these chocolatey grahams are missing to make a s’more are the marshmallows! Make sure to grab your favorite size marshmallow and you’re all set to make the perfect bite size s’more, or a very fancy dessert charcuterie board!
