Trader Joe’s has rolled out a new chocolate candy to their line of sweet treats! These Crispy Peanut Butter filled Milk Chocolate Peanuts are a cross between a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, and a Hershey’s Krackle!!

What are Trader Joe’s Crispy Peanut Butter filled Milk Chocolate Peanuts?

These Crispy Peanut Butter filled Milk Chocolate Peanuts are probably the best thing you’ll eat all week.

They are shaped like whole peanuts and are filled with creamy, rich peanut butter and crispy rice pieces. It’s like my two favorite candies got together and created this.

The milk chocolate is creamy and the peanut butter is soft and light with just the right amount of saltiness. The crispy rice gives it that extra crunch which I just love.

The chocolates do really look like peanuts in a shell which is kind of cool.

Where In the Store?

These were located a few different places throughout the store. I’m assuming because they are a fairly new product they wanted to show them off everywhere they could. They were in the candy section and they were also in the aisle that had the “New Arrivals”.

They were scattered a few other places throughout the store as well, like near the cashiers. Don’t worry you can’t miss them!

How to Serve Trader Joe’s Crispy Peanut Butter filled Milk Chocolate Peanuts

I opened the package up and dug right in. I was surprised to see how many were actually in the bag.

The serving size is only three, so that’s about how many I had, give or take one or two ;).

Because the warmer months are upon us here in the Northeast, I ended up keeping these in the refrigerator so they didn’t melt.

I would totally cut these up and sprinkle them over my favorite ice cream, or blend them into a milkshake!

To be completely honest I would just eat these again right out of the bag. Why mess with a good thing?

Along with these new Crispy Peanut Butter filled Milk Chocolate Peanuts, Trader Joe’s has another new chocolate candy to hit the shelves this summer.

Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Sunflower Seed Butter Cups (NEW ITEM!!) are also totally delicious and unlike these Crispy Peanuts, they are vegan, gluten free, soy free, dairy free and peanut and tree nut free.

The Review

I LOVED THESE. Whenever I want something sweet, I always reach for something chocolatey, not so much something sugary.

Milk chocolate and peanut butter are a classic combination. Trader Joe’s always likes to take their products to the next level, and thats what they did here too. They added that crispy rice in to give it that perfect crunch!

If you’re looking for a quick crunchy sweet chocolatey treat, this is the snack for you! These will hit the spot and take care of that chocolate craving.

The chocolate layered around the peanut butter is thick and the peanut butter in the middle is creamy, rich and slightly salty, the perfect combination.

Buy It Again?

I will continue to buy these as long as Trader Joe’s decide to keep them on its shelves! I’m going to add these to my “guilty pleasure snacks.”

I have already been back to Trader Joe’s this month and bought myself two more bags to keep as backups for when my original bag runs out.

These will forever be getting a 5 cart rating from me. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

If you are one of the poor unfortunate souls who are allergic to nuts or tree nuts, definitely try those Sunflower Seed Butter Cups that Trader Joe’s offers. Those also got a 5 cart rating!! Check out the review!
