Trader Joe’s Magnifisauce (NEW ITEM!!)

We are freaking out about this new Trader Joe’s “secret” burger sauce, and yes you should be too. We’ll let you in on this secret, all you have to do is keep reading.

What is Trader Joe’s Magnifisauce?

As soon as I set eyes on this sauce, it reminded me of other fast food chains “secret burger sauces,” for example, McDonald’s, In-N-Out and Chick-fil-A. You all know the ones I’m talking about, how each fast food chain has their own “secret ingredient.”

Anyway, I knew this was a new item at Trader Joe’s and I’m a sucker for a good burger sauce, so it just happened to end up in my cart, and I’m so happy it did.

Trader Joe’s Magnifisauce is a bit different with their ingredients. Instead of ketchup, they use tomato paste. And instead of mayonnaise as a base, they use egg yolks and canola oil, which is essentially mayonnaise, but it’s just broken down further to its original form. Egg yolks give it that deep rich, creamy wholesome umami texture and flavor that can’t be beat.

Where In the Store?

You can find Magnifisauce in the condiment aisle of your local Trader Joe’s, next to the tartar sauce.

How to Serve Trader Joe’s Magnifisauce

This sauce as advertised on the front of the bottle is a burger sauce. That’s what I used it on when I tried it for the first time.

Magnifisauce would be absolutely delish on a shrimp po’boy, a loaded roast beef sandwich or a grilled/fried chicken sandwich with crunchy lettuce, melty cheese, crispy bacon and of course a beautifully ripened slice of tomato. Dipped into chicken nuggets and French fries doesn’t sound like a bad option either!!

I’m totally gearing up to try this sauce on that aforementioned fried chicken sandwich. Fry up a nice piece of chicken to the perfect golden brown, toast those buns and add all of your favorite toppings. The BEST burger bun recipe I have found is this one from the Smells Like Home blog, go ahead and check it out!

I know its so easy to pick up a burger or a fried chicken sandwich from a fast food joint, but making your own is just so much more satisfying. You can also add or take away things you enjoy, or don’t enjoy for that matter.

I’m telling you, you’re going to want to add more and more of this sauce as you eat your creation, and that’s exactly what I did.

Okay, so hear me out. Fried chicken and toasted waffles topped with Trader Joe’s Magnifisauce!! OMG YUM, I’m drooling over here just typing this out to all of you. The link for Trader Joe’s Multigrain Toaster Waffles is right here for you to check out.

The Review

I loved this sauce so much that I was dipping my tater tots in it as well. The sauce was tangy and sweet, and was the perfect accompaniment to my juicy cheeseburger.

This was the only sauce I needed on the burger. You know how sometimes you want to add ALL OF THE CONDIMENTS on a burger or sandwich? Well, Trader Joe’s Magnifisauce is the only one you’ll need.

It has all the right spices in it, right down to the dried cloves that are added in. The cloves give it that warmness and really pull the whole sauce together. It’s that spice at the end that has you asking “what is that?”

Along with the dried cloves this sauce also has mustard powder, rosemary extract, dried garlic, paprika and sea salt. There are so many layers to this sauce and I really believe this will be an instant Trader Joe’s classic.

Buy It Again?

I will totally be buying this Magnifisauce again. The next time I make a haul trip to Trader Joe’s I will be picking up another bottle of this magic sauce. Everyone in my house loved it on their burgers as much as I did, (and on the tater tots too) that the bottle is almost GONE already.

I cannot wait to try it on other sandwiches as well, especially a fried chicken sandwich. A burger is nothing without condiments, so run to Trader Joe’s to get your hands on a bottle of this stuff and slather it on, baby! You’ll thank me later.
