Trader Joe’s PB&J Snack Duo

Come take a trip down memory lane with me friends! Close your eyes and go back to the days of grade school sitting in the cafeteria. Lunch box filled with goodies and what else for the main attraction? A PB&J!!

Keep reading to see how Trader Joe’s has transformed a childhood favorite to something that all ages can enjoy!

What is Trader Joe’s PB&J Snack Duo?

Name a more dynamic duo than peanut butter and jelly…OK. So, there are a fewwww I could name but we’re going to stick with this one for this post!

This snack duo is made up of eight crispy rolled wafer baton sticks. The mini wafers are filled with creamy peanut butter. They are paired with a delicious sweet and sticky raspberry fruit dip! HOW FUN!

This is throwing me right back to grade school when I would bring in the stick crackers and cheese, or the Dunkaroos!! I loved those, and this PB&J Snack Duo is really sending me back! Ahh the good ole’ days.

Where In the Store?

These Snack Duos were on the shelf near the cereals and granolas!

The packaging caught my eye because of the bright blue box, it’s pretty hard to miss.

For a few trips now, I’ve passed these Duos up, for no particular reason, just because I figured I didn’t need the extra sugar. This last trip I passed them on the shelf, and actually turned my cart around to get them, I knew I needed them.

How to Serve Trader Joe’s PB&J Snack Duo

Serving these snack duos are so easy! All you have to do is pull them out of their packaging and open them up! Easy as that.

These would be wonderful for kids to take on car rides, or to school for a snack. Kids love this type of packaging that has something to dip. What kid doesn’t love a PB&J? (Except for those allergic of course).

These packages are great to take virtually anywhere “on the go”. Boat trips, camping/ RV adventures, hiking, or summertime beach ventures!

They’re great to keep on hand when you need some extra protein for a snack. Each little container has 8 grams of protein!

I love my midnight snacks, and I would totally indulge in a pack of these with a small glass of ice cold milk!

Instead of making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, toasting the bread, dirtying knives and plates; bust open one of these little packages! Cravings solved with virtually no mess!

The Review

I wish I could give these more than 5 carts out of 5!! I have fallen in love with this snack duo. I’m sad I’ve been missing out on it for so long, but on the same hand kind of glad because these are dangerously good!!

The jelly to dip in was amazing! It was sweet, and full of raspberry flavor. I loved the seeds in there also, it was more like a raspberry preserve than a jelly.

The peanut butter filled baton wafers were so so so good!! I could have honestly just snacked on those alone! They were light, airy, crunchy and bursting with peanut butter flavor!

Trader Joe’s makes three other flavors of baton wafer cookies! Two of which I have already reviewed, and the last flavor is soon to be posted! Check them out, if you love these you’re going to LOVE the other flavors they offer as well! Links to other reviews are below!

Dipping the mini peanut butter baton wafers into the raspberry jelly really tasted like I was actually biting into a PB&J sandwich! It kind of blew my mind actually. I loved the crunch to the wafer, it felt like I was eating a TOASTED PB&J, YUM.

Buy It Again?

The answer to this question is HECK YES. I will have to be careful though because they are dangerously good.

Thank goodness 6 come in a pack, so I’m set for a while!
